Realizations of Life and Aging

No matter my years, I continue to trust in the Lord. Though 77 I am but a child in God.

My years are limited but God is eternal. I trust His promises!

Every life span is different, each person unique, every life seems brief and we contemplate our fragility.

Our years sometimes are marked with sin and it trails us with consequences. God judges all sin and forgives.

Every hour of the journey, God has been merciful. People gave up on me but not God. Jesus brought the lost sheep home.

The markers of life are years but the greater markers are MOMENTS and Memories.

The posture stooped, the eyes blur, hearing a bit dull, stamina short and energy fading. Yet, I am still here and functioning as a servant.

The blessings are counted in my family, friends and the calling of the living God on my life in joyful ministry of His church.

I have seen so many things in various countries, people, places, crisis, tears and laughter; I am indeed grateful.

“So teach us to number our days that we might gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 NLT
