I had two funerals last week and one this week. The devil pursued me as I prepared for the vision for Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church and immersed in prayer and Bible study.
Sunday was four baptisms and several more to ready for next Sunday. Always an exciting time for the church. A mini Pentecost!
Last night many came back for the vision sharing of the church. It included Bible Study growth, Worship expansion, new Deacons, Youth ministry multiplied, Children’s Ministry with various growth, all laced with prayed and in-depth discipleship. A great attendance came back to pray over and engage in these visions. Afterwards there was a fellowship with tons of food! Nearly everyone stayed!
Bathed in prayer. God is at work. The Holy Spirit has moved in many lives and the VISION touches everyone in church. The Spiritual Magnet is on.
What a joy to reflect on what God is doing in our midst. Some of us may not see it all coming to fruition in our lifetime but that’s okay. More salvations and baptisms next week and more people joining the church. Fill the people and then fill the building with people.! Thank You Lord!
